Could it be that this particular street is so poorly designed that the speed limit doesn't make sense?
6 lanes, 40kph (and at some points 30kph)
I hope they take all the money and redesign the road so it properly reflects the desired speed. (It wasn't originally a 40 kph)
News story about hidden cameras

Not good news for hosts. I think this will lead to heavy regulation or simply outright outlawing of AirBNBs
How Airbnb fails to protect guests from hidden cameras | CNN Business
Top Comment: The problem isn't unique to Airbnbs and hidden cameras are also found in hotel rooms, changing rooms, toilets and anywhere pervs get a chance to perv. The primary problem is Airbnbs response to reports of hidden cameras. What's needed is a change in policy to encourage the guest to contact the police. More oversight from local authorities is not a bad thing or a problem for me and most hosts wouldn't have a problem with it. I think rental properties short or long term should be checked annually by the local government. I'd be happy to submit to a criminal records check as a host. it's a standard procedure in the UK for anyone working with children or vulnerable adults. Basically, I think there's a lot of distance between regulation and outright outlawing.
